Sharon: Strategic coordination with US to continue

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said at the beginning of Sunday's cabinet meeting that the strategic discussion between Israel and the United States will continue in Israel at the beginning of next year. According to Sharon, reports that he received from Washington following the last round of discussions indicated that those discussions yielded positive results, Israel Radio reported. Minister-without-Portfolio Tzachi Hanegbi, who managed the discussions, said that Iran's rearmament must be prevented and that Israel would find it very difficult to sit with its hands tied. He emphasized that it was clear to him that Israel was not alone in its perspective toward Iran and that it was good that others shared Israel's views.
