Far-right extremists are engaged in an effort to reveal the identity of a high-ranking Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) official in charge of the Jewish anti-terror unit, Channel 2 News reported Sunday evening.
In the recent battle between the Shin Bet security agency and Jewish terror suspect Haim Pearlman, far right-wing activists have embarked on a new effort in which they have attempted to strip the veil of secrecy surrounding the Shin Bet official in charge of the Jewish anti-terror unit.

In the past several days, far-right wing activists have released pictures and videos exposing the face, name and home address of the agency official. The information has been transmitted through different media across Israel and the world.
The right-wingers campaign to reveal the identity of the Shin Bet official is exceptionally timed and coordinated, according to the Channel 2 News report. Officials were quoted as saying the battle against the activists is "a completely different game" and a more difficult fight than what they grown used to expecting from members of the far-right.
recordings of an alleged Shin Bet agent posing as a far-right extremist and urging alleged Pearlman to murder the head of the Islamic Movement’s Northern Branch, Raed Salah, were aired on Channel 2 news on Thursday night.
The recordings were made available by Pearlman two days before his arrest on Tuesday, on the condition that they would be broadcasted following his arrest.
Pearlman said the recordings were made sometime in the last few months.
