Shin Bet head: Terror groups intend to kidnap Israelis in Sinai

Israel has intelligence about a plan by terrorist groups to kidnap Israelis in Sinai and transfer them to the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, Shin Bet head Yuval Diskin told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Monday.
Diskin also told the committee that in the months since Hamas seized power in Gaza, the group has weakened significantly in both the Strip and the West Bank.
