Shinui party blasts chairman Lapid and Poraz

Shinui party members harshly criticized their top brass on Tuesday, especially chairman Yosef (Tommy) Lapid and MK Avraham Poraz, for supposedly not handling Shinui's drop in opinion polls properly. One of the members said, "Tommy completely disappeared, the party has an atmosphere of malaise and shell-shock, no one is functioning," Army Radio reported. Recent opinion polls, consistently predicted that Shinui would receive only five Knesset seats in the next elections, compared to the 15 seats it currently holds.
