A 24-year-old Palestinian man was seriously injured on Tuesday in clashes with IDF troops in Nablus, Red Cross and Palestinian hospital officials said. The army said troops fired rubber bullets to disperse Palestinians who were throwing stones at them in the West Bank city. The army would not say what the forces were doing there. According to Palestinian officials, six Palestinians, including a 10-year-old boy, were hit by rubber bullets after hurling stones at troops. Palestinian security officials said about 20 Israeli jeeps were in the city at the time. Israel often carries out arrest raids in Nablus and refugee camps attached to the city, considering them hotbeds of terror activity.
