Sixteen injured as bus hits cars on Hadera traffic circle

Sixteen people were injured, two of them moderately and the rest lightly, in a road accident near the entrance to Hadera on Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred when a bus drove onto a traffic circle and hit nearby cars at the city's Police Square. All of those injured were bus passengers. Police said they were investigating the bus driver's claim that he couldn't brake in time due to a technical fault.
The rescue teams who arrived at the scene evacuated the casualties to Hillel Yafeh Medical Center in Hadera and Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
