Snow began falling in the Jerusalem area on Thursday morning, after 25 centimeters of snow fell overnight Wednesday in the Mount Hermon area.
As a result, schools in the northern Golan Heights area were closed. Classes in Jerusalem, however, were in session as usual.
Public transportation in Jerusalem was not affected by the snow.
