Soccer legend Itzik Zohar released after arrest for alleged tax evasion

Former top Israeli soccer player Itzik Zohar was arrested by income tax authorities on allegations of tax evasion and released on a bail of NIS 1.3 million, it has been released for publication, Tuesday.
On Sunday, when Zohar was arrested, a gag order on his picture and name was imposed. The gag order has been removed Tuesday/
Allegedly, Zohar neglected to report some of his income sources during the years 1988-2002, when he was an active soccer player.
Currently Zohar is a sports commentator on the Sports Channel.
