An Israel soldier was killed and two other troops lightly injured when an armored vehicle overturned in a traffic accident at the Yatir junction near Hebron, the army spokesman said Saturday.
The circumstances of the accident were not immediately clear, the army said.
The army has opened an investigation into the accident, which occurred overnight near the Yatir junction not far from the city of Hebron, the spokesman said.
