Border Guard volunteers arrested an IDF soldier from the village of Majar and a Ramle resident after discovering 25,000 rifle bullets in the car they were driving on Friday.
During an investigation, the soldier confessed to stealing the ammunition from his military base. The Arce Magistrate's Court will extend the remands of both detainees on Saturday night.
