State prosecutor asks High Court to delay Schalit hearing by 2 hours

The state prosecutor asked the High Court of Justice on Sunday to postpone by two hours the hearings on a petition submitted by Noam Schalit, father of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Schalit.
Schalit filed his petition to protest the government's decision to lift the economic blockade and open the border crossings between the Gaza Strip and Israel before their son is released from captivity. The state requested the two-hour delay so as to have more time to formulate their response.
