The State Attorney's Office expressed apprehension on Wednesday at the possibility that Yisrael Valis, the 19-year-old father who was accused of killing his 3-month-old child, would try to escape from Israel to avoid prosecution.
Valis was released from prison to house arrest on Tuesday, after being in custody for some two weeks following his arrest. No electronic monitoring device was placed upon him when he left prison, Army Radio reported.
