A 15-year-old high school student from Ashdod was arrested Sunday after threatening to attack the principal of his school. Over the weekend, the student drove recklessly in an all-terrain vehicle in the vicinity of the school and the principal requested that he cease his activities. According to the principal, the boy then attempted to run her over.
Sunday morning, the youth arrived at the school and when his grade coordinator requested that the youth's father come to the school for a conference, the student threatened again to injure the principal if he should face consequences for his actions.
The youth was barred from the school and was handed over to house arrest.
