Strikes continued in university and colleges across the country on Tuesday after student leaders rejected the previous night's draft proposal submitted by the government.
In the draft, of which only one clause out of nine was cleared for publication, the government proposed to freeze tuition fees for one year and to only begin reforms within the universities and colleges in 2009.
