A Jerusalem bar was firebombed early Sunday morning following a brawl over entry, lightly injuring six people, police and rescue officials said.
The early morning attack on the 'Godfather' bar in central Jerusalem took place after two New Years
revelers were prevented from entering the site, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said.
The six people injured in the incident were treated on the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics after suffering from smoke inhalation.
The suspected Jewish assailant fled the scene.
Later in the morning, the alleged Israeli accomplice in the firebombing was arrested by police. He was remanded in custody for three days Sunday by the Jerusalem Magistrate'e Court.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, Jerusalem police arrested 12 suspected drug dealers in the city over New Year's Eve
. Police found NIS 50,000 in cash, 100 Ecstasy pills, and several hundreds grams of marijuana in their possession, the police said.
