Taiba: Man apprehended for holding 4 falcon chicks

The Nature and Parks Authority on Wednesday initiated an investigation against a Taiba sheepherder, under suspicion that he had unlawfully kept four falcon chicks.
A Taiba police detective unit conducting routine activity in an open field noticed a makeshift cage and called in parks authority rangers.
The maximal fine for holding an endangered or protected animal without a permit is 50,000 NIS.
