Ta'ir Rada's family attempts to sue the state

After nearly a year and a half after the murder of Ta'ir Rada, her family has decided to sue for compensation from the Israeli Education Ministry. In a statement released Monday, the victim's family said that "it was their responsibility to protect her- and they failed at doing so," explaining their decision to seek damages from the governmental body. The teenager was found stabbed to death in a bathroom at her school in the Golan Heights in 2006. The case has yet to be fully solved and, thus far, no indictments have been issued in connection to the murder.
