'Talks with Palestinians sans Hamas not possible'

Former Mossad head Ephraim Halevy said Thursday that he believed it was impossible to hold talks with the Palestinians without holding talks with Hamas. In an interview with Israel Radio, Halevy said that if the Palestinian Authority were to actually achieve internal order, it would improve the chances of diplomacy with Israel, even if Hamas were part of the government. He added that whoever thought it was possible to hold talks with the Palestinians while leaving out Hamas was either uninterested in diplomatic talks, or daydreaming.
