Temperatures will be especially hot in the coming days, rising throughout the country to some five degrees Celsius above the average for this time of year.
According to Army Radio, Tel Aviv and Haifa will reach 28 degrees on Saturday, while Jerusalem will hit 31, Beersheba 37, the Sea of Galilee 36, the Dead Sea 40, and Eilat 41.
