Due to terrorist warnings the Karni goods crossing was closed Saturday night for security reasons.
According to the army, only when the security situation allows will the crossing be reopened.
The decision came as Israel announced the easing up of restrictions for the Palestinian population, despite the ongoing general closure that remains intact.
From Sunday morning 10,000 Palestinian workers from the West Bank will be permitted to enter Israel.
In addition, 1,000 workers of international relief agencies will be permitted to enter Israel, of which 350 would be allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.
