Three Arabs were stabbed Saturday during a brawl in the Jerusalem suburb of Mevasseret Zion, police and rescue officials said.
Two of the victims were seriously injured in the nighttime incident, which apparently stemmed from a romantic quarrel involving a female Jewish teen, while the third was lightly hurt in the fracas, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said
The three men were rushed by Magen David Adom paramedics to Hadassah-University Hospital in Ein Karem.
According to an initial police investigation, the three were stabbed after an Arab youth came to visit the Jewish teen in a flat in the Jerusalem suburb, and a brawl broke out at the site.
The Jewish teenager and another Arab were detained by police for questioning.
