Three family members drowned Friday evening after falling into a water reservoir in the northern Negev.On Friday afternoon, a group of people from the Beduin community ofHura entered the fenced reservoir to draw water. Two of them, brothers,apparently slipped on the plastic lining surrounding the reservoir andfell into the water, unable to clime out again. Their cousin tried torescue them but also drowned.Rescue forces arrived on the scene shortly afterwards and managed toretrieve the bodies of the two brothers. Searches for the cousin’s bodywere stopped after sundown. His body was found Saturday morning.The two brothers were Abed Abu Alikyan, 16, and Muhammad Abu Alikyan, 17. Their cousin was Raed Abu Alikyan, 23.
