Thursday marks the end of Standard Time in Israel in 2007. At 2 a.m. Friday, Daylight Savings will take effect, and clocks will move forward one hour.
Daylight Savings Time will last 170 days, until after Rosh Hashana.
The Israel Manufacturers' Association estimates that the move to Daylight Savings will save the economy some NIS 80 million.
