Tibi refused entry to PMO meeting

MK Ahmed Tibi (UAL) was prevented from entering the Prime Minister's Office on Tuesday after he refused to undergo a security check. Tibi arrived for a meeting with cabinet secretary Oved Yehezkel and was asked to open the trunk of his car, as is security procedure. However, Tibi refused, saying that security personnel were treating him more stringently because he was an Arab. When Tibi was told it was merely a routine check, the UAL MK decided against attending the meeting and went home.
