Security officials on Sunday acceded to the request of Agriculture Minister Shalom Simhon to allow the passage of a shipment of 6,000 claves to Gaza, Army Radio reported.
Due to the government's decision to declare Gaza a terrorist entity, the calves were being held in a quarantine depot since their importation from Australia.
The minister's request was granted as a special exception to the rule, Army Radio said.
