An Ashdod truck driver suspected of fabricating his own kidnapping in Tulkarm was arrested Saturday.
On Friday, the truck driver had allegedly made a phone-call to his wife, and told her to alert police that he had been kidnapped by Palestinians. Security forces searched for him for several hours before he turned up at his home later Friday evening.
The suspect admitted during a police investigation that he had indeed synthesized his capture because he had been unable to transfer his goods on time.
