Twenty anti-security fence demonstrators wounded

Twenty Israeli and Palestinian demonstrators were wounded Thursday morning during a demonstration organized by the group Anarchists Against the Wall. A crowd of demonstrators descended on a security barrier construction site in an attempt to stop work on the barrier. Some demonstrators climbed into the construction team's bulldozers and were able to stop construction for a short time. Police were forced to use tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators, after which construction resumed. Anarchists Against the Wall was founded in 2003, and has since broken through the security barrier twice during demonstrations. During one such demonstration, a member of the organization was shot and wounded by the IDF.
