Two armed Palestinians arrested near Jerusalem

Jerusalem police on Wednesday arrested two armed Palestinians on the outskirts of the city, police said. The two men, who were apprehended in the borderline village of A-Ram, are suspected of taking part in past disturbances, as well as stoning and firebomb attacks, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. The two suspects have been remanded in custody by a military court for four days. Police sappers neutralized the explosives found on the two men.
