Two children neglected by mother rescued by police

Two children, aged two and three, who had been neglected, abused, and locked in their rooms for a significant amount of time were rescued by Tiberias Police on Tuesday, Israel Radio reported.
When police arrived, the children's mother, aged 30, attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the window, but she was stopped by officers and sent for a psychiatric evaluation.
The children were sent to Poriya Hospital in Tiberias and were put in the custody of welfare service.
