Two girls drowned and died Friday night in two separate incidents along Israel's Mediterranean coast.
A nine-year-old girl drowned at an Ashkelon beach and was found lifeless over an hour later by police forces.
In a second incident in Rishon Letzion, a family from east Jerusalem was pulled in by the current. The father and three children managed to get out, but a fourth child - a 14-year-old girl - drowned. Her body washed up to the shore some time later.
