Two people were killed on Friday in separate vehicle-related incidents in the north of the country.
On Friday afternoon, a six-year-old was run over by a sewage truck while playing in the parking lot near his home on Rehov Ben-Gurion in Hadera's Givat Olga neighborhood.
A few hours later, a 19-year-old was killed on Highway 60. While driving near Balfouria toward Nazareth, the driver swerved and hit an electric pole.
The driver, a resident of a local kibbutz, died of his injuries at Afula's Ha'emek Hospital.
