Wednesday night proved to be another in a series of busy and violent nights for security forces in and around the West Bank in Gaza Strip. Altogether, 18 wanted terror suspects were arrested by security forces. Two IDF soldiers were lightly wounded while arresting Palestinian fugitives in Nablus overnight Wednesday after shots were fired at them. Along the Israel-Gaza border an IAF aircraft fired a missile and killed three memebers of Islamic Jihad early Thursday morning who were planting a bomb along the security fence, according to the IDF. The bomb, according to the IDF, was an unusually large 30 kilograms. Also along the southern Gaza security fence Thursday morning, an anti-tank rocket was fired at an IDF patrol in the area. No soldiers were wounded in that incident. In the Nablus raid, troops uncovered magazines for Kalashnikov rifles and two Islamic Jihad suspects and one Fatah terror suspect were arrested in the operation, while in Tulkarm, three Hamas suspects were also apprehended. In the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Abu Dis, a PFLP suspect was arrested as well.
