UAV crashes in northern Gaza Strip

An IDF Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) crashed in the Northern Gaza Strip on Thursday due to a technical malfunction. The UAV, of the most advanced in the world, was on a surveillance mission over Gaza and was completely destroyed in the crash. Palestinians rushed the scene of the crash near the town of Beit Hanoun and collected the remnants of the aircraft. Hamas claimed it was responsible for shooting down the vessel. The IDF appointed an inquiry commission to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
