Former OC Northern Command Maj.-Gen. (res.) Udi Adam - who resigned from his post following the Second Lebanon War - is set to be the next CEO of the Nuclear Research Institute in Dimona, Yediot Ahronot reported on Wednesday. According to the report, the institute's current CEO, Yitzhak Gurevich, told department managers of Adam's nomination on Tuesday. A committee which was assigned to find a new CEO for the institute evaluated several candidates for the position, amongst them several former IDF officers. Nili Lipschitz, spokeswoman for the Israel Atomic Energy Commission, confirmed that Adam was one of the leading candidates for the position. Adam resigned from his position shortly after the war amid criticism of his performance.
