Umm al-Fahm man suspected of endangering national security

Israeli Arab, 51, will stay in jail for two weeks; court has banned release of Police-Shin Bet investigation details.

An Israeli Arab from Umm al-Fahm was arrested for allegedly undermining Israel's national security, police reported on Tuesday.
Police and Shin Bet have arrested Khaled Muhammad Sliman Agbaria, 51, and are investigating the case.

Agbaria's arrest was extended by 13 days. The Nazareth Magistrate's court banned the publication of the investigation's details.
Earlier on Tuesday, an Jerusalem resident was indicted for aiding Hamas. Ahmed Ben Issa Awad was recruited into the Muslim Brotherhood, and gathered intelligence on sites in Israel as well as reported on social and political developments.
In August, three residents of Golan Druse villages were indicted on several espionage-related charges, including contacting a foreign agent, passing information to the enemy and conspiracy to kidnap.
