A US Congress delegation led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi arrived in Israel Friday afternoon.
Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik welcomed the 14-member team at Ben-Gurion Airport.
During the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, President Shimon Peres, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu.
They will visit Yad Vashem and attend a special meeting in the Knesset.
