An Arab youth from east Jerusalem was detained for police questioning following a violent Land Day demonstration in the capital.
During the demonstration, participants threw stones at policemen, who responded by dispersing the riot using stun grenades.
The demonstration was launched by a group of Arabs to commemorate 30 years since the original Land Day, during which Israel confiscated land from Israeli Arabs, under the claim of using it for security purposes.
