The weather was expected to be clear to partly cloudy on Friday with little change in temperature from Thursday.
According to Army Radio, temperatures in Jerusalem and the Galilee will reach a high of 31, while Tel Aviv and Haifa will reach a high of 29 and 30 degrees respectively.
In the south, Beersheba was expected to reach a high of 35, with Eilat reaching a scorching 40 degrees by early afternoon on Friday.
