A group of American Jewish activists has launched a campaign aimed at getting the US Holocaust Memorial Museum to recognize the anti-Semitic actions by Arab and Muslim leaders during World War II and to take a leading role in fighting anti-Semitism in the Arab world.

Larry Franklin, the Pentagon analyst who admitted conveying classified information to staffers of the pro-Israel lobby (AIPAC) and to Israeli officials, was sentenced Friday to 12 years of prison and a $10,000 fine at the US District Court in Alexandria Virginia.

Twenty eight-year-old Wadi Kassab resident Nadim Melhem, who was shot and killed by police on Thursday, was apparently shot twice, once in the leg and once in the chest, and was prevented by police at the scene from receiving medical attention.

Also, according to a Channel 2 report Friday, Iran is working with an Italian company to build a spy satellite, showing documents outlining the deal and still photos of meetings between Italian company officials and Iranians. The documents, with the title "The Mesbah Project," explain what the satellite's abilities would be and what it would look like.
