Security forces operating in the West Bank, arrested 28 Palestinian fugitives on Monday, as part of the ongoing crackdown to nab wanted terrorists and thwart attacks.
Fourteen Hamas fugitives were arrested in Kalkilya, eight in Jelazoun north of Ramallah, while two Islamic Jihad fugitives in Ilar north of Tulkarm, two in A-til west of Jenin, one in Bir Zeit northwest of Ramallah and a Fatah fugitive was caught in Nablus, where shots were fired at soldiers and a bomb detonated near an IDF jeep.
Damage was caused but no one was wounded.
