Winograd report publication delayed to January

The final Winograd report will be published in January 2008 and not this month for technical reasons, sources connected to the committee said Monday. The sources said that the Winograd Committee told the IDF advocate general's office during legal proceedings two months ago that they would attempt to publish the final report by the end of the year, but "nevertheless the assumptions are that the report will be published in January." Diplomatic sources speculated that the committee would wait to publish the report after US President George W. Bush leaves the country on January 11. They said they expected the report to come out at the beginning of the following week.
