An elderly couple from the West Bank settlement of Emmanuelle had their car stolen from them Monday afternoon near Nebi Elias, between Nablus and Kalkilya.
After the Israeli man had parked the car and entered a store, a Palestinian man entered the vehicle and stole it with the woman still inside.
The woman was let out of the car unharmed near the village of Azoun, but the car thief also stole her necklace. She was being questioned by security services.
Shortly thereafter the car was recovered, without the thief, by security forces at a junction in the northern West Bank.
