Minister-without-Portfolio Yitzhak Cohen (Shas) proposed on Sunday in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that an international force be put in place to combat the ongoing Kassam attacks on southern Israel.
International troops would provide full security, Cohen argued, and their presence would increase government support for expanded ground operations in the Gaza Strip.
