A 32-year-old Yitzhar resident was arrested Wednesday morning for allegedly attacking OC Manpower Maj.-Gen Elazar Stern at the Western Wall on Friday.

A 32-year-old Yitzhar resident was arrested Wednesday morning for allegedly attacking OC Manpower Maj.-Gen Elazar Stern at the Western Wall on Friday.
He was reported to have thrown stones at Stern at an incident in which the officer and his family were harassed for his participation in the disengagement operation.
The suspect served as a teacher in one of the Binyamin Regional Council schools, the central unit of Judea and Samaria Police in Beit El reported.
During the initial investigation, the arrested man claimed he knew the police were seeking him. His case has been passed on for further handling.
