Young mom and her 6 yr. old son killed in TA crash

A 23-year old mother and her 6-year old child were killed Tuesday afternoon in a chain collision that occurred Namir road in Tel Aviv, near the road's intersection with Einstein Street.
An initial investigation concluded that the accident was instigated when a Volkswagen jeep ran a red light at the intersection and smashed into a Fiat Punto.
Three cars flipped over as a result of the collision. Police suspected that the severity of the crash was due to the tremendous speed of the Volkswagen at the time of the accident, Army Radio reported.
