A 16-year-old youth was in serious condition in Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon on Monday after he was stabbed in a fight with an 18-year-old.
Police were investigating reports that the fight followed a previous argument between the pair.
The identity of the attacker was known to police and they were making efforts to track him down.
