The youth who collapsed and died during pre-draft selection tryouts for the IDF's prestigious flight school on Wednesday was identified Wednesday night as Itai Sharon, 17, of Zichron Ya'akov.
According to witnesses, Sharon complained that he felt unwell. While resting in the shade, Sharon reportedly fainted. He was evacuated to Beersheba's Soroka Hospital, where he died.
