After a string of mid-October meetings in Washington with congressmen, senators and senior American officials, Likud Knesset member Yuval Steinitz says he believes the U.S. may soon present Iran with a military ultimatum.
"The Bush administration is well aware of the historic responsibility it bears as leader of the free world with regard to the Iranian nuclear weapons program and, although no one said as much, I believe it will likely add a concrete military threat to the economic sanctions already on the table," Steinitz, a former chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, tells The Report.
