Austria MPs honor Nazi victims in special session

Austrian lawmakers gathered for a special session of parliament Friday to honor victims of the Nazis. The tenth annual remembrance, broadcast live on state television, was held on the anniversary of the liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp on May 5, 1945. Lawmakers in particular honored those who tried - often in vain - to resist Hitler's policies. "These are people with extraordinary courage and they are great role models for all of us engaged in fighting anti-Semitism and racism today," said Barbara Prammer, speaker of parliament.
