Jewish Agency Chairman Zeev Bielsky on Tuesday retracted his comments made to the Post last week that there was no future for American Jewry.
Bielsky said that the words were taken out of context and that he intended to stress "the importance of Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people and the need to gather together there in the future," Israel Radio reported.
